I have finally figured out the perfect gluten free hot dog solution. Duinkerken Biscuit Mix and Schneider’s Country Naturals Wieners. Follow the biscuit directions, after the batter is ready, roll it out, cut it into squares, roll the wieners in it (I cut them in half), and bake as the biscuits instruct. Times vary so stay close by. These are easy and I’m guessing you could freeze them but I wouldn’t know as they don’t last that long!

These are so good!!
Approximately how many gluten-free dogs will one box of mix make? Thanks.
One box will make about one dozen to fifteen hot dogs. (Keep in mind, they are about 3/4 the length of a “regular” size hot dog because I start by cutting them in half as mentioned above.)
Thanks Heidi. I’m going to try these this week. I think they would be perfect to take along on the boat…
